iKhaya LikaBaba Children's Home

iKhaya LikaBaba is a registered NPO and child and youth care centre. We are a children’s home located in Zululand just South of Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Operating now since 2007, iKhaya was initially founded by members of Solid Ground Church to care for babies in need of urgent alternative care but has since grown to become a children’s home with a vision to see our children grow to maturity physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Being located among farmlands on the campus of Solid Ground Church, iKhaya is blessed with wonderful and secure gardens for the children to play. They also have access to the church’s facilities including an indoor sports centre. As part of their spiritual and emotional growth the children attend church on Sundays. Solid Ground has a dynamic Children’s Church program for children from 3 years and older.
