Initiatives of Change South Africa is an active and registered member of the international Initiatives of Change network, also a registered legal body in South Africa since 1948 with its footprint from the 1920s with the Oxford group.We are non-for-profit organisation and movement, Our mission: to inspire, equip and connect people. We have worked with professional social workers and counsellors, faith-based organisations and churches, Gender Based Violence initiatives, Alternative to Violence (Non-Governmental Organisation) and are now engaging with Pace e Bene, an international peace-building organisation. However, there is lack of focused, holistic inner-healing and trust-building programmes that tackle the transferred generational trauma causing deep divisions in the closest bond of humankind, the parents and child or guardian and child relationship.
