Thanking Earthly Touch Foundation for Building Classroom from Eco-bricks
In 2019 we ran out of space to educate our students. Covid made the situation worse as we had to turn back most students as the zinc classroom we has was not fit for purpose. Earthly Touch Foundation came to party by offering to build an extra classroom out of eco-bricks. This required the involvement of our students as they cleaned up their environment of plastic bottles and litter which was use to make eco-bricks and in turn build out 1st eco-brick classroom
Our Gratitude goes to Earthly Touch Foundation for constructing 5 classrooms , toilets, office and kitchen for our extra lesson needs. Our students , several organizations and volunteers heeded the call to get involved in the initiative that required the cleaning of environments of plastic litter and in turn this was used to make eco-bricks , which were used to construct classrooms. The initiative resulted in over 60 tons of plastic litter being removed from the environment, created 30 temporary jobs and provided learning space for 100 students.
