Some of the rural communities continue to struggle with poverty because of high levels of unemployment. Kuwane Foundation helps communities with food packs as an immediate relief while implementing sustainable initiatives like crop and vegetable farming. Kuwane Foundation works in 14 villages in Sterkspruit and has been implementing community based initiatives aimed at addressing poverty and underdevelopment.
