Life 4 U Foundation has been dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering communities across South Africa. Along the way, our work has been recognized through prestigious awards and accolades that highlight the impact of our mission. Vita Basadi Awards (2022) Our Chairperson, Mpho Mofokeng, was named Community Builder of the Year for her outstanding work in empowering communities through sustainable businesses, co-operatives, and income-generating projects. This recognition reflects our commitment to creating long-term solutions that uplift families. Gauteng Premier Youth Excellence and Service Awards (2018) We were honoured for the “Wash 4 Life” Campaign (formerly the Good Toilet Hygiene and Clean Environment Project) in the Health, Wellness, and Environment category. This initiative promoted hygiene and wellness, ensuring healthier living conditions for communities. Gauteng Premier Youth Excellence Award (2017) Life 4 U Foundation received the Health Award for promoting healthy living and hygiene in Tembisa schools. By instilling good habits early, we helped young learners embrace wellness as part of their daily lives. Ekurhuleni 100 Shining Stars (2018) Recognized for outstanding community service in youth development, this award celebrated our efforts to equip young people with skills and opportunities to thrive. News24 100 Young Mandelas of the Future (2019) Our Chairperson, Mpho Mofokeng, was honoured for her social initiatives, being named one of the 100 Young Mandelas of the Future.
