Ride a Mile in My Wheels. LITTLE EDEN CEO Wheelchair Campaign® 2026
This March, in honour of Intellectual Disability Awareness Month, LITTLE EDEN Society invites South Africa’s CEOs and business leaders to step into a world too often overlooked; a world where courage is lived daily, challenges are constant, and dignity continues to shine despite the barriers.
Ride a Mile in My Wheels is a powerful, immersive experience that challenges CEOs and business leaders to spend one full workday in a wheelchair. It asks you to navigate your normal day such as meetings, corridors, parking lots, lifts, office spaces all from a completely new vantage point. This is not a symbolic gesture. This is lived empathy. This is the beginning of transformation. By physically experiencing the barriers faced by individuals who rely on mobility aid devices, leaders gain a deeper understanding of accessibility, equity, and inclusion and become catalysts for change within their organisations and communities. The 2026 CEO Wheelchair Campaign® is proudly co-sponsored by MasterDrive, reinforcing the importance of mobility awareness, road safety, and inclusive leadership. How You Can Get Involved. 1.
