peration Hunger is a South African nonprofit organisation that has been working to address hunger and poverty for almost 50 years. We work with communities across all nine provinces, supporting practical, sustainable solutions that help people move towards greater food security and self-reliance. Our programmes include community and household profiling, nutrition screening, feeding initiatives, food gardens and small-scale agriculture, early childhood development feeding, and income-generating activities such as sewing, beading, bricklaying, food preservation and fresh produce projects. We work alongside communities to identify their needs, strengthen local resources and create solutions that can continue beyond short-term assistance. Through our Community Nutrition Intelligence Programme, we also gather data to identify nutritional vulnerability and understand where support is most urgently needed.
