Queen Butterfly Foundation

We are a small registered NPO situated in a house in Discovery, Roodepoort. Our focus is to increase cognitive and physical functionality of children and young adults with sever mental and physical disabilities. Each child receives a unique therapy program catering specifically to their own progress informed by physiotherapists, occupational therapists, biokineticists and speech language pathologists. Our highly skilled special needs facilitators work one on one with each child to sustain programs involving each child in fun, intentional activities that grow their fine and gross motor skills, increase their participation in their own care and grow their communication and social skills. We also assist children who have suffered traumatic brain injury with their rehabilitation programs and help reintegrate them into suitable schools once they have sufficiently recovered.
