More about SAYes Mentoring
SAYes Mentoring has implemented evidence-based transition programmes with under-served young people since 2008. Our approach has been scientifically developed by Dr. Andrew Dellis, SAYes Mentoring's Operations Director and an interdisciplinary behavioural scientist, and as such is underpinned by a clear theory of change, focused on social motivation as a powerful causal input for behaviour and perspective change. SAYes Mentoring's approach tackles the root causes of social poverty and inequality by leveraging high quality relationships to deliver evidence-based interventions sustainably and effectively to disadvantaged young people in challenging circumstances. Our person-centred programmes connect trained and supported volunteers with young people and focus on developing sustainable skills to boost long-term independence (through improved quality of decision making) and wellbeing (via consistency of healthy practices).
