More about Squ Foundation
Squ Foundation is a 100% Black women‑led nonprofit and registered Public Beneficiary Organisation (PBO), established in 2023 in Protea Glen, Soweto. Rooted in community values, we are dedicated to empowering children, youth, and women through creativity, education, and advocacy. We believe that dance, theatre, and self‑expression are powerful tools for resilience and transformation. Our programmes provide safe spaces for learning, mentorship, and artistic growth, while addressing urgent social challenges such as gender‑based violence and inequality. Guided by a vision of dignity and opportunity for all, Squ Foundation works hand‑in‑hand with local communities to unlock potential and inspire lasting change. We believe in being part of a movement that uplifts voices, nurtures talent, and builds a more just and inclusive society.
