We are a community based NPO in UMlalazi ,King Cetshwayo District ,KZN ,fighting Gender Based violance . In our rural wards, women and girls suffer domestic violence ,teenage pregnancy and abuse in Silence with no office to report to and no information in Isizulu . We provide GBV Awereness workshops in 10 wards . School talks in high schools about rigth ,consent and reporting . Referrals to other centers and Social workers Safe support for more than 80 survivors per year . Our challenge : we have not have enough money to rent office R2000 per month, no computer and no furniture . We work from home and cannot keep confidential files or print booklets . With your support we will open small GBV help desk office in UMlalazi with 2 computers ,printer ,desk ,chairs and filing cabinet . Our goal is to reach R2000 people in 12 months. We have community support from traditional leaders and local Schools . We need your help to give women in UMlalazi a safe place to be heard .
