About Us The Children's Den is a Non-profit organization that is based in Langa Township providing an after-school programme for Grade 4-7 learners, an initiative dedicated to supporting unemployed youth between the ages of 16-30 and Vulnerable primary school Children attending quintile 1 to 3 Schools from our partner Primary schools in Langa Township, as well as other primary schools in the surrounding areas. Our focus is on: • Homework assistance and daily tutoring (Mathematics, Science, and English) • Life Skills and Literacy development • Community Development • Skills Development for Unemployed Youth • Robotics and coding for primary school learners • ICDL computer courses for primary school learners • Arts and Cultural Activities • Excursions (Summer and Winter Camps) • Nutrition: we work with 120 learners, and a vital component of our program includes providing our participants with cooked meals every day.
