The Grové Schoombee Foundation exists to bring hope, safety, and dignity to South Africa’s most vulnerable children. Through our two flagship projects, we provide both immediate crisis care and long-term support. Daybreak House is a registered temporary place of safety where abandoned and vulnerable babies receive 24/7 care, love, and stability until they can be placed in forever families. Our team and volunteers ensure that every baby is nurtured physically, emotionally, and developmentally during this fragile season of life. Hamba Nawe Project focuses on children with life-limiting conditions, offering paediatric palliative care, family support, and resources to improve quality of life. We walk alongside families in their most difficult journeys, helping them access medical care, emotional support, and moments of joy.
