“One might say, my battle with Afrikaans is a tale as old as time as I have been battling with Afrikaans since 2009 when I came to South Africa from Uganda. Just when I was about to accept defeat, TUF came into my life and opened my mind to a world of possibilities. Needless to say the L4L program at TUF helped me get into University and I wouldn't be where I am today without It. I am currently in my 3rd year at the university of the Western Cape, striving for a Bcom Degree in Industrial Psychology. TUF has helped me realize how much I love working with people, helping people and just giving back, thus my choice to study Industrial Psychology. As a member of the TUF Alumni, one of the most rewarding things I do is offer my time to help the current L4L students with their academics and personal growth.”
