Wezizwe Foundation is a grassroots movement born from love, memory, and a deep sense of responsibility to uplift the communities that raised us. Rooted in the spirit of Ubuntu — “I am because we are” — Wezizwe Foundation exists to restore hope where it’s been dimmed, to nurture children who dream beyond their circumstances, and to bring dignity back to families facing hardship. By collaborating with local partners and other foundations, Wezizwe Foundation provides holistic support where it is most needed. Our flagship initiatives include: Beyond Matric Project – providing financial support to Grade 12 learners from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue tertiary education. Community Support Initiatives – assisting families with food parcels, school fees, and healthcare needs.
