Youth Net and Counselling - YONECO

YONECO manages the Tithandizane National Helpline Service offers a continuum of care and support for children surviving violence and abuse through toll-free Call Centre and Shelters strategically situated in Rumphi, Lilongwe and Zomba. Children and women survivors of violence and abuse are temporary hosted in the safe homes to receive care and support. They provide basic needs and services like food, shelter, medical assistance, counselling and psychosocial services, provision of legal advice concerning victim’s participation in legal proceedings against perpetrators of violence and exploitation, and linkage to other essential services safety and security, justice and social support. YONECO further supports facilitating repatriation and social integration of survivors, conducting life skills, functional education and livelihood support for survivors and support income generating initiatives.
