Help National Rescue for Poverty & Drugs by ⚡ Powering Hope: Help Us Light Up Lives ⚡ for Our Centre Of Hope
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
National Rescue for Poverty and Drugs is on a mission to restore dignity, safety, and opportunity to those affected by poverty, addiction, and gender-based violence. We are creating a space where healing begins—a place where people can access support, resources, and a fresh start. But right now, we need your help to make this space safe, functional, and welcoming. 🛠️ Urgent Electrical Needs To complete the setup of our rescue and rehabilitation center, we urgently need: 🔌 Plugs & Lights – To illuminate rooms and create a warm, secure environment. 🔧 100m of 1.5mm & 2.5mm Electrical Wire – For safe and reliable power distribution. ⚡ DB Box (Distribution Board) – To manage electricity safely across the facility. 💡 Switches, Sockets, and Fittings – Every component helps us build a space of care and hope. These items are not luxuries—they are lifelines. Without them, we cannot power the rooms where counseling, support, and rehabilitation will take place. 💖 Why Your Donation Matters Your contribution will help us: Create a safe and functional space for vulnerable individuals. Ensure electricity for lighting, heating, and essential equipment. Empower our team to deliver life-changing services in a secure environment. Whether you can donate goods, sponsor an item, or help us spread the word—you are helping us save lives.
Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
