Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Donating a chainsaw to the Durban Child and Youth Care Centre is not just about providing a tool — it's about enabling safety, cost-efficiency, skill development, and better living conditions. This practical donation helps sustain the centre’s grounds, empowers the staff, and ultimately improves the care and quality of life for the children they serve. Durban Child and Youth Care Centre has a sizeable property with trees, gardens, and outdoor play areas. Over time, these areas require regular maintenance — especially the pruning or removal of dead trees and branches for safety and aesthetics. Since we are a Non-profit child and youth care centres typically operating on tight budgets. Hiring external contractors for tree cutting or storm damage clean-up can be expensive. Owning a chainsaw can help us cut those costs. Durban experiences storms that can knock down branches or trees. A chainsaw is essential for prompt clean-up to maintain safety for children and staff.
