Help Ernest Foundation by donating a fridge or deep freezer for food preservation and provision
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
The Ernest Foundation is urgently seeking a donation of a functional fridge or deep freezer to significantly enhance our capacity to store and distribute food for the vulnerable communities we serve in Orange Farm, South Africa. Having proper cold storage is crucial for us to: Preserve Perishable Foods: Safely store fresh produce, dairy, and other perishable items, reducing waste and ensuring the nutritional quality of the food we provide. Support Meal Programs: Efficiently manage ingredients for our community meal programs, allowing us to prepare and serve healthy, fresh food to children and families in need. Handle Larger Donations: Accept and store larger quantities of donated food items, preventing spoilage and maximizing the impact of generous contributions. Ensure Food Safety: Maintain proper temperatures for food storage, adhering to safety standards and protecting the health of our beneficiaries. We are looking for a unit in good working condition, whether a standard fridge, a large refrigerator, or a deep freezer. Your donation of this essential appliance will directly contribute to our ability to provide nutritious food and improve food security for countless individuals in our community. Drop-off Location: The Ernest Foundation, 9929 Stretford 6, Orange Farm, 1841. Contact for Pick-up/Enquiries: 068 412 5933 or ernestfoundation1@gmail.com
