Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Help Keep Our Children and Elders Warm This Winter As winter sets in across our communities, the cold is becoming unbearable for many of the children (ages 0–18) and elderly we support through our NPO, NOSTOP (Never Overthink Situations, Transfer Opportunities). Many of the children in our care come from under-resourced homes, with little to no access to warm clothing or proper bedding. The elderly we assist are particularly vulnerable during this time — some live alone, others care for grandchildren, and many are on chronic medication, which makes staying warm not just a comfort, but a necessity for survival. We are urgently appealing for donations of: Winter blankets (new or gently used) Warm clothing for children (ages 0–18) — including jackets, shoes, socks, gloves, beanies Warm clothing for elderly men and women Sleeping bags and hot water bottles (if available) Every item received helps restore dignity, improve health, and show care to someone who would otherwise go without. We serve different sites in Kraaifontein and surroundings, Wallacedene, Bloekombos, Ceres, Wesbank and Atlantis, and our volunteers ensure donations reach the families and individuals who need them most. If you can help in any way — through donations, sharing this request, or connecting us with others — we would be deeply grateful. Together, we can bring warmth, comfort, and hope this winter. Thank you for being the good this world needs. Warm regards, Charlene Miles Founder, NOSTOP NPO 📍Kraaifontein | 📞 064 994 8925 | 📧 charlenemiles@nostopnpo.co.za
