Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

We are proud to be a trusted partner of the Eastern Cape Department of Education, working closely with 251 schools and early childhood development centres to strengthen learning outcomes in underserved communities. Our literacy and numeracy programmes are supported by robust monitoring and evaluation systems that track the development of individual skills for each child in every school and ECD centre we serve. This allows us to identify learning gaps early and continually refine our approach based on evidence. At the same time, we actively invite the broader public to be part of this work. Through platforms such as ForGood, we connect with individuals and organisations who want to contribute to improving education. Together, we can help nurture a love for reading and change the lives of these children, one book at a time.

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.

  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
