How can you help?

Help Huis Andries Olivier Durbanville Quadriplegic Centre by Donating building materials, volunteers for urgent repair to staff quarters

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Unfortunately, the staff quarters have fallen into urgent disrepair. Structural issues, plumbing faults, and broken fixtures are making it increasingly difficult for carers to live and work in safe, comfortable conditions. Without immediate repairs, the wellbeing of both carers and residents is at risk. By contributing to this project, you are not only fixing walls and pipes — you are investing in the people who give their lives to care for others. Every donation or sponsorship directly improves living conditions for carers, strengthens the quality of care for residents, and safeguards the sustainability of our Centre.

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
