Help People Against Substance Abuse by Donating finances for material distribution for Substance Abuse Prevention Campaign
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
At People Against Substance Abuse (PASA), we are running our annual Substance Abuse Prevention Programs in schools across the Garden Route this term. We are visiting learners from Grade 8–11, speaking about the dangers of different drugs and their effects on the brain, body, appearance, and overall development. We also address the six giants that influence learners’ choices — peer pressure, low self-esteem, circumstances, boredom, negative forces within, and rebelliousness — while sharing about God’s plan for each learner. To strengthen this campaign, we want to distribute information booklets to every learner. Each booklet costs R15 (black and white print), and our goal is to distribute 3,000 booklets in schools and communities. These booklets will serve as a lasting resource for learners to reflect on after our sessions. We are asking for assistance in sponsoring booklets. Businesses that contribute are eligible to receive an 18A Tax Certificate, making this both a community investment and a tax-deductible opportunity. Together, we can ensure that every learner receives the tools they need to resist substance abuse and live a life of purpose. 👉 Sponsor a booklet today and help us reach 3,000 learners with hope, knowledge, and purpose.

Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
