How can you help?

Help DAKTARI Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage by donating Instax Mini film for Instax mini 12 for each child to keep a memory of their DAKTAR-staying.

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Every week, DAKTARI welcomes a new group of underprivileged children to learn about wildlife, the environment, and important life skills. At the end of their stay, we want to give each child an instant photo of themselves with their favourite animal of the week — a personal keepsake they can treasure forever. Many of these children have never had a printed photo of themselves, so this small gift creates a lasting memory of their time at DAKTARI. It also strengthens the bond between the children and the animals, reinforcing the lessons they’ve learned about caring for nature and wildlife. Your donation of Instax Mini film will help us make this moment possible for every child who visits

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
  6. 6Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
  7. 7Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
