Help Sikhululekile Reading Development and Life Skills by educational games for kids
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
At Sikhulukile Reading Development and Life Skills (SRDLS), we believe that every child deserves the tools to succeed. Our work in the Philippi township of Cape Town focuses on providing literacy support and life skills training to children who face significant socio-economic challenges. While we provide a safe and educational space, many of the children we serve come from homes where basic school supplies are a luxury. A lack of essential items like pens, pencils, and notebooks is a significant barrier to their learning and development. Without these fundamental tools, students cannot fully participate in class, complete homework, or practice the skills they learn in our programs. This gap widens the already existing inequality in our education system and hinders their potential. 2. The Solution: Our Request We are seeking your support to bridge this gap. We are launching a Stationery Drive to provide every child in our program with a personal stationery pack. These packs will be given directly to the students, empowering them with the resources they need to learn and grow. Our goal is to create 300 comprehensive stationery packs for the students currently enrolled in our programs. Each pack is designed to last a full academic year and costs approximately R150. Your donation, no matter the size, will directly impact a child's educational journey. It will provide more than just school supplies; it will provide hope, confidence, and the ability to fully engage in their education. 3. Join Us in Making a Difference By sponsoring this project, you are not just donating supplies; you are investing in a child's future. You are giving them the confidence to learn, the ability to create, and the tools to dream. We promise that 100% of the funds raised from this proposal will be used to purchase and distribute stationery to our students. We will provide a detailed report on the use of the funds, including a breakdown of purchases and photos of the children receiving their packs. We believe in being fully accountable to our partners. Please join us in our mission to create a brighter future for these young learners. To make a donation or to learn more, please contact Lungisa Sobhuwa at the details provided above.
