The Meal In A Bag is an excellent way to help struggling families put food on the table. The meal is nutritious, tasty and easy to prepare. One MIAB serves a family of 4 and keeps hunger at bay. Make up a ziplock bag with the following ingredients: * ½ cup rice * ½ cup 3-in-1 soup mix or split peas * ½ cup lentils * ¼ cup of soup powder or 1 packet soup 1 unwrapped stock cube Printed cooking instructions Cooking instructions Place contents of the bag in a pot Add 6 cups of water (1.5 litre) Bring to the boil Once boiling, lower the heat to simmer Cook on low heat for 30-40 min Stir regularly
