Help i4118 Foundation NPC by Packing a Bag of Possibility (School Stationery) for Children and Teens
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
For some children, even the most basic school supplies are a luxury. Our aim is to assist Children in need (which we are mentoring), within Alberton and surrounding areas, with the necessary basic School stationery items. Each Stationery Pack Includes: 10 x Blue Ball Point Pens 3 x Hi Clean Erasers 2 x Pencil Sharpeners 3 x 36g Glue Sticks 1 x 12-Piece Colour Pencil Set 1 x 4-Pack Highlighters 12 x HB Pencils 1 x 30cm Ruler 1 x Steel Pair of Scissors (Orange) 1 x Pencil Case We need your help to do this! Please take hands with us to make this happen by: • Challenging your colleagues at your work, friends and family to collect stationery and make a difference in the life of a child in need. • Ask your company to get on board. Let's work together to brighten their futures!
Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
