Help Milk Matters by printing pamphlets (A4 folded to DL, full colour) for creating awareness about breastmilk donation

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

The demand for donor milk for the very tiny premature babies in hospital who do not have access to the breastmilk they need from their own mothers, far exceeds the supplies of donor milk,so Milk Matters needs more mothers to donate their excess breastmilk. This is something that by its very nature can only be done for a finite period of time, so new donors are needed all the time for that reason too. Sadly too many mothers do not know about breastmilk donation, do not know how easy it is or that it is life-saving for the recipient babies. Breastmilk is still being thrown away when there are babies dying because they do not have access to breastmilk. Pamphlets for distribution via maternity units, clinics, pharmacies, libraries, etc is therefore vital.

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
  6. 6Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
  7. 7Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
