Our organisation spends around R1000 per month on petrol. Our main purpose for travelling is for networking meetings. We empower, equip and encourage those working in the counter human trafficking field by being: a point of connection, for those interested in the issue and the work of combating Trafficking in Persons; a channel of communication between the role players (or Network members), between the provinces and between Government and Civil Society; a network of collaboration, as this is certainly not an issue that only one person or organisation can work against on their own; and a Support Centre serving our various members. We believe that networking is one of the most strategic responses to Trafficking in Persons.
