Cycle Tour 2026 starts on the 25th February 2026 - 6 March 2026. Extreme Cycle for Hunger 2026 is more than a cycling challenge—it’s a moving message of hope and awareness. Cyclists from across South Africa will embark on an epic multi-day journey, covering hundreds of kilometres, each pedal stroke symbolising the struggle and resilience of those who face food insecurity daily. Along the route, the Meals on Wheels team will stop at preselected communities, bringing much-needed meals, food parcels and encouragement to families and people in need. Every stop will serve as a reminder that hunger can be beaten—one meal, one act, one kilometre at a time. The MOWCS annual cycle tour is a fundraising and community outreach event that raises awareness of the plight of hunger and poverty in South Africa. The funds will go towards over 100 food parcels, 2000 meals, 150 stationery packs, 200 sanitary packs and more.
