๐พ Update on Aurora Aurora has endured something no animal should ever have to face. She was found impaled on a palisade fence, likely trapped there for hours before kind people noticed her and called for urgent help. The trauma she experienced is heartbreaking, and her road to recovery is far from over. Her Current Medical Condition - ๐พ Severe leg injury โ She returns to Evander Animal Clinic on Tuesday for wound care and to assess whether her bandage can safely be removed. - ๐พ Knee damage โ Her knee injury is more serious than her thigh, but with time and care, it will heal. - ๐พ Tick bite fever โ She tested positive and is receiving the necessary treatment. - ๐พ Low blood pressure โ This remains a concern and is being closely managed by the veterinary team. - ๐พ Parasite infestation โ She was covered in ticks and fleas, all of which have now been treated with proper medical parasite control. What Makes Her Story Even Harder All of this happened during fireworks. Injured, trapped, and unable to escape while loud explosions went off around herโฆ it must have been utterly terrifying for her. How You Can Help As mentioned recently, we are reaching a point where financial assistance may soon be urgently needed, and Aurora is one of the cases placing significant strain on our resources. Her admission, treatment, and follow-up care are ongoing โ and essential. ๐ Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us give Aurora the comfort, treatment, and safety she deserves as she heals.
