Nduna Mabaso Farms is a community-based agricultural enterprise in Cottondale, Mpumalanga, supported by Thornybush Community through our Enterprise Development social impact pillar. The farm supports 32 beneficiaries through agricultural production and livelihood opportunities. However, an unreliable water supply limits its ability to maintain crop and nursery production throughout the year. We are seeking R185,500 to install a borehole and solar-powered pumping system to provide a sustainable source of water for irrigation. This investment will strengthen the farm’s production capacity, reduce crop losses and support the continued growth of its nursery, building on previous support for seedlings, planting crates and nursery establishment.
