Childhood cancer affects thousands of families across South Africa every year, with leukaemia remaining the most commonly diagnosed cancer among children in the country. As winter sets in, many young patients face the cold months without the basic comfort items that can make hospital stays and treatment a little easier. Support Cupcakes of Hope in collecting 620 winter care bags for these little warriors before the 25th of May 2026. Each bag will be filled with everyday essentials designed to bring comfort and dignity to a child during treatment. Each toiletry care bag will include: Scent-free soap,Scent-free lotion Children's toothpaste and toothbrush Earbuds and Vaseline A small hand sanitiser Cupcakes of Hope volunteers will come together to assemble the bags before they're distributed to children receiving cancer treatment, ensuring every little warrior feels seen, supported and cared for. Every item donated brings us one step closer to reaching all 620 children — one act of kindness at a time. All donations go directly to Cupcakes of Hope.
