Help Feral Watch And Tnr raise R3000 for Cat caught in a snare
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Please note : very graphic images in this post. Giving up is not something we do. We spotted this cat this week and could immediately see that he was injured. A trap was set, but he disappeared before she could catch him. With the help of a kind-hearted family who kept an eye out for him and assisted , he was finally trapped three days later. At first, it looked like an injury to his foot and maybe something around his tummy area, but we had a feeling there might be a snare involved. What followed at the vet was heartbreaking to see. 😥 Our suspicions were correct. It was a snare. The wound and injuries were far worse than we expected, and seeing what this poor cat had been through was absolutely awful. We are quite sure he is someone's pet cat, and we would really like to find his owner. For now, he has been treated and is resting comfortably in a small recovery space where he can heal without putting too much strain on his wound. We're so grateful to the family who helped us and never stopped looking out for him. Because of their and Janie, compassion, this cat now has a chance to recover. We hate hate snares 😥😥 One cat. One rescue. One life that matters. ❤️
