“The true character of a society is revealed in how it treats its children.” – Nelson Mandela As we celebrate Mandela Day on 18 July, let’s honour his legacy by protecting South Africa’s most vulnerable citizens – our children. Eye health is critical to a child’s development, education, and safety, yet for the majority of South Africa’s children, it’s simply unaffordable. Help us bring eye health interventions to our underserved communities by supporting our One School at a Time programme. In recognition of the 67 minutes committed to community service, we’re aiming to raise R67 000 this July to bring eye healthcare to 2 schools. With your help, we can improve the lives of hundreds of South Africa’s most deserving citizens, honour the legacy of Tata. This Mandela Day #itsinyourhands.
