Ikemele is a women empowerment program that assists gender-based violence survivors to get financial freedom, emotionally support and increase self-esteem through counseling, skills training and practical resources. Ikemele program is a six months program that sponsors ten women with the following services: -Weekly support groups & one-on-one counseling sessions -Life skills, human rights & GBV awareness education -Technical skills training in Computer Literacy/Accredited, Sewing & Beading, Baby Care or Cashier & Merchandising -Social relief including food parcels, lunch and transport fare to classes & referrals to support services.
