Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
DAKTARI is home to over 30 wild animals that cannot return to the wild. They have been injured, orphaned, or rescued from captivity – and with us, they’ve found a safe and loving home. But they are more than just animals in care – they are ambassadors for wildlife conservation. Every week, local children visit DAKTARI and learn about these animals up close. They discover their stories, observe their behaviours, and sometimes even help feed them. Just imagine the joy on a child’s face when bottle-feeding a baby antelope! These moments spark deep respect and compassion. By connecting with the animals, the children understand why it’s so important to protect wildlife – especially from poaching and neglect. We need your help to raise R50,000 per month to feed our animals and keep their enclosures clean and safe. Your support means full tummies, happy animals, and inspired young minds.
