We raise funds towards school bursaries for deaf children from economically poor homes to enable them to receive the best possible oral education at Eduplex School. Eduplex is a mainstream school where they include a small number of deaf children in each class. Our goal is to raise the required school fees applicable for a period of 11 months for a child in need. These fees will include the necessary audiological management and school requirements. The successful inclusion of children with hearing loss in our school system relies on the belief that all children have equal access to a quality education, and to embrace all children, irrespective of race, gender, or socio-economic status. These learners can meet their unique needs and prepare them for further education, employment, and independent living in the future.
