The world can be harsh and sometimes cruel. This old soul was found in the middle of the street, in an area with little movement and no houses nearby. It leaves one wondering if she was simply unwanted and dumped. One of her eyes burst long ago, and the other is fast heading in the same direction. She’s covered in fleas, painfully thin, and has only a few old teeth left. Her paws been hurt by the road being so hot 😢 She has already been seen by the vet and, even after years of working with animals, cases like this still break your heart. She has been treated for fleas, received two different eye drops, pain medication, antibiotics, and a vitamin boost. Next week she will return to the vet for a follow-up, and if needed, she will undergo anesthesia to remove the dried eye and the rotten teeth.
