1000 Dead Bodies - Creating a visualisation of the average number of women and girls murdered in South Africa, every term. The event will take place at Viva Connect, Cullinan. There will be a speaker, the Viva Choir will render songs and then we will create a drone photo.
We ask that everyone present wear white T Shirts with red paint. We will share the photos of the event on Social Media and invite the press to participate.
The idea is this: Imagine all the women and girls who are killed over 3 months behind closed doors, in fields and in the dark, all died on the same day at the same time.
The world will surely notice. We are crying out against complacency and callousness.
