I'm a nursing student looking to help out wherever I can, whether it be food prep, frail-care, reading, bathing, feeding, daily living activities or exercise (passive, passive assistive, active, active assistive). Caregiving isn't just a career path for me, it's a calling. I do need practical experience so any opportunity to offer care and support to anyone who needs it would be greatly appreciated. I’m a student at a prestigious nursing school in Johannesburg, currently training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Caregiving isn’t just a career path for me, it’s a calling. I’ve always felt deeply drawn to helping people, especially the elderly, and those going through vulnerable moments in life. Offering my time as a volunteer is my way of giving back, growing through hands-on experience, and doing what I love most which is being present for others with kindness, dignity, and compassion. I'm looking for volunteering opportunities where I could apply the skills that I have acquired, any type of care-volunteering experience would be amazing!
