Offer description
Hi! I’m offering my time and support as a remote volunteer project coordinator. I’ve helped coordinate projects in both work and volunteer settings. I was a sub-coordinator with the Santa Shoebox Project (https://santashoebox.org.za/) for two years. I’m eager to gain more experience in this space, so I’d love to support a team where I can both contribute and continue learning. Nothing makes me happier than doing work that makes a meaningful difference! If you need someone to help manage timelines, coordinate moving parts, or simply keep things on track behind the scenes, I’m ready to help. I'm happy to share my CV and LinkedIn profile, as well as references, with interested organisations. Let’s make something great happen, together. :) — Karen PS: I've selected 4-8 hours of volunteer time, but I'm open to chatting about doing more hours, if necessary.
Individual's background
Hi, I'm Karen! I'm a digital marketer and project coordinator who loves working on projects that make a positive impact in people's lives. I've done volunteer work on and off throughout my life. The project that brought me the most joy (and I still attend events whenever I can) is the Santa Shoebox Project (https://santashoebox.org.za/). I served as a sub-coordinator for two years and as the social media content planner for three years. I'm now ready to start doing more volunteer work again, to do good and gain experience in project coordination within the NGO space. My goal is to work in this space or at an organisation involved in social impact. I'm especially interested in collaborating on projects that empower children, young people, and adults in need with education, career and work opportunities, and basic necessities. I'm excited to find out more about your organisation and how we can work together to achieve your goals!
