🎯 Who We’re Looking For We need volunteers with experience in ANY of the following: Live sound engineering Music production Sound desk / mixer operation PA systems setup & management Wiring, audio setup, microphones, monitors Stage sound coordination Technical management for events If you have worked in church sound, live music, events, conferences, concerts, stage productions, or related environments — we need your skills. 🎶 Role: Volunteer Music Engineer / Sound Technician NRPD hosts events such as: Youth rallies Anti‑drug awareness programmes GBV & social empowerment events Conferences, workshops & seminars Community outreach & charity drives Fundraising events and performances Your role will be essential in ensuring that our sound quality is clean, powerful, and professional. 📌 Key Responsibilities 🎚 Sound Setup & Technical Support Setup of PA system, microphones, speakers, monitors Mixing live sound during events Ensuring smooth audio levels for speakers, performers, videos, etc. 🎤 Event Day Support Sound checks Troubleshooting technical/audio issues Coordinating with performers & speakers Managing live adjustments during the programme 🎛 Pre‑Event Planning (Online/In-Person) Advising on sound requirements Recommending equipment or setup layout Helping build simple technical run sheets ⏰ Time Commitment Project‑based & flexible You choose which events you can assist with 2–8 hours depending on event size Both online planning & in-person event support 🌱 What You Will Gain Hands‑on live sound experience A chance to use your skills for meaningful impact Networking with other creatives & community leaders A Certificate of Service / Reference Letter Leadership opportunities in NRPD’s Events Division Being part of a national community upliftment organisation 🧩 Ideal Candidates Individuals who are: Experienced with sound equipment Calm under pressure Good communicators Team players Passionate about supporting community development 💻 How to Join Click “Volunteer / Respond to Need” NRPD will contact you Attend a short online onboarding session Get added to our events communication group Support events according to your availability 🌍 Use Your Sound Engineering Skills to Make a Difference Your technical expertise will help amplify our message of hope, recovery, and empowerment across communities. 👉 Ready to volunteer?
