Become a Fundraising Volunteer for Gift A Child Children’s Home! Your time and effort can help transform the lives of vulnerable children! We are seeking passionate individuals to join us in our fundraising efforts to support the children in our care. Whether you have an hour or a few days to spare, every bit helps! Here’s everything you need to know: What Will the Funds Support? The funds raised will go directly toward the care, education, and well-being of the children at Gift A Child Children's Home. This includes: Providing essential resources such as food, toiletries, and educational materials. Supporting infrastructure improvements to accommodate more children in need. Assisting with transportation, health care, and other critical needs for our children. Your involvement will directly impact the lives of abandoned, abused, and neglected children. Volunteer Roles & Tasks As a fundraising volunteer, your tasks may include: Event Support: Assist with organizing or running fundraising events such as Carols By Candlelight, or other community activities. Promotion & Outreach: Help spread the word by sharing our cause on social media, distributing flyers, and talking to potential donors. Collection Drives: Help collect donations or sponsorships from local businesses and individuals. Administrative Support: Assist with email outreach or managing donor databases. Each role plays a crucial part in ensuring our children receive the support they deserve! Time Commitment We understand that everyone’s time is valuable. You can volunteer for a few hours during an event, help with campaign activities, or assist remotely. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference! Training & Orientation No prior experience is required! We provide orientation and resources to ensure you feel confident and prepared in your role as a volunteer. Training is available for all positions. Location & Accessibility Volunteering can take place at 30 Aldred Street, Albertville, Randburg or remotely, depending on the role.
