Help Africa Matters Initiative with 5 volunteers for Fundraising Calendar & Timeline Development
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
We are looking for a skilled volunteer to support the development of a clear, practical 12-month fundraising calendar and implementation timeline. This short-term, project-based opportunity is ideal for a professional with experience in fundraising, strategy, consulting, or nonprofit development who is interested in contributing their skills to a high-impact, mission-driven organization. Responsibilities include collaborating with AMI’s leadership team to review existing fundraising approaches; mapping key fundraising moments across a 12-month period; aligning fundraising efforts with programs, communications, and impact milestones; and developing a clear, realistic timeline that includes preparation, launch, follow-up, and donor stewardship phases. The final deliverable will be a user-friendly fundraising calendar that AMI’s team can immediately implement. Qualifications include experience or familiarity with nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, or strategic planning; strong organizational and analytical skills; the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable plans; and comfort working collaboratively with a small, distributed team. Prior experience with youth-focused or social impact organizations is a plus but not required. This opportunity requires a commitment of approximately 2–5 hours per week over 2–4 weeks and is well suited for professionals seeking a meaningful, time-bound volunteering experience.
