Help Khulisa Social Solutions with 5 volunteers for Governance, compliance and leadership training
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Khulisa Social Solutions is seeking skilled corporate volunteers or subject-matter experts to provide practical capacity-building support to NGOs participating in the EmpowerAbility Programme in Musina and Blouberg, Limpopo. The participating organisations have identified a need to strengthen their internal organisational foundations, particularly in: Governance and compliance, including Board roles and responsibilities, policies, regulatory requirements and good governance practices • HR systems and practices, including HR policies, performance management, staff development and managing volunteers • Leadership and organisational management, including building effective teams, managing change, delegation and accountability We are looking for experienced professionals who can provide practical, accessible training appropriate to community-based and non-profit organisations. The training could be conducted physically in Musina and/or Blouberg, Limpopo, or virtually on a staggered basis, allowing participants to attend a series of shorter, focused sessions. Where possible, we would welcome volunteers who could complement the training with practical templates, tools and limited follow-up mentoring to help participating NGOs implement what they have learnt. This support will contribute directly to building stronger, better-governed and more sustainable NGOs capable of delivering meaningful community impact.

- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
