Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Volunteer Call: Storytellers, Photographers & Videographers Needed Help Us Tell the Stories That Matter Every day, National Rescue for Poverty and Drugs (NRPD) encounters individuals and families facing immense challenges. People battling poverty. Communities affected by substance abuse. Survivors seeking hope and healing. Children needing support. Families trying to rebuild their lives. These stories deserve to be heard. NRPD is looking for passionate volunteer Storytellers, Photographers, and Videographers who can help us capture and share the human stories behind our work. Why We Need You Many people want to help but they never get to see the realities facing those in need. Through authentic storytelling, powerful photographs, and meaningful video content, we can raise awareness, inspire action, attract donors, secure sponsors, and ultimately reach more people who desperately need support. Your work could help us: Attract funding and sponsorships. Build awareness of poverty, substance abuse, and gender-based violence. Showcase the impact of NRPD's programmes. Give a voice to those whose stories often go unheard. Inspire communities to get involved and make a difference. Volunteer Opportunities Storyteller / Content Writer Help interview beneficiaries, volunteers, and community members and transform their experiences into compelling stories that inspire support and action. Photographer Capture the moments, faces, and realities behind our projects, events, outreach programmes, and community initiatives. Videographer / Content Creator Create short documentaries, interviews, social media content, and impact videos that showcase the work of NRPD and the people whose lives are being transformed. What We're Looking For Passion for community development and social impact. Strong storytelling skills and empathy. Basic photography, videography, or content creation experience. Respect for dignity, privacy, and ethical storytelling. A desire to use your talents to make a real difference. What You'll Gain Meaningful portfolio-building opportunities. Real-world experience working within the non-profit sector. Networking opportunities with community leaders and partners. A professional reference. The chance to be part of something bigger than yourself. Join the Movement Behind every statistic is a person. Behind every programme is a story. Behind every story is an opportunity to change a life. Help us tell the stories that inspire hope, mobilise support, and transform communities. National Rescue for Poverty and Drugs (NRPD) "When people see the story, they understand the need. When they understand the need, they become part of the solution."
