TEARS Foundation is looking for talented and passionate volunteers with skills in public relations, journalism and professional writing to help us tell our story and amplify the work we do. As a volunteer, you will assist with writing and developing press releases that highlight TEARS' programmes, campaigns, initiatives, milestones and impact. Your writing can help us communicate important information to the media, raise awareness about gender-based violence, and connect more people with the support and services available through TEARS. We are looking for someone who can: • Write clear, engaging and professional press releases • Turn organisational updates and initiatives into compelling stories • Help communicate TEARS' impact to media and the broader public • Identify and highlight stories that may be relevant to media outlets • Write in a sensitive, ethical and survivor-centred manner • Work collaboratively with the TEARS team to ensure information is accurate and aligned with our messaging You do not need to be a professional journalist to volunteer. If you have experience or skills in journalism, public relations, communications, copywriting or media writing, we would love to hear from you. Help us tell our stories. Help us share our impact.
