Volunteer Needed to Source and Secure Venues for NRPD Fundraising Events in 2027 Description National Rescue for Poverty and Drugs (NRPD) is seeking a dedicated volunteer to help identify, approach, and secure suitable venues for our 2027 fundraising events calendar. The volunteer will play a vital role in helping us build relationships with venue owners, negotiate discounted or sponsored venue opportunities, and ensure our events have suitable locations to maximize community participation and fundraising success. Responsibilities Research suitable venues for NRPD fundraising events. Approach venue owners and managers for sponsorships or discounted rates. Coordinate venue enquiries and bookings. Build relationships with event venues and community partners. Assist with venue logistics and requirements. Maintain a database of potential venues for future events. Skills Needed Business Development Relationship Management Negotiation Event Coordination Communication Skills Networking Administrative Skills Impact By helping NRPD secure venues, you will directly contribute to the success of fundraising events that support programmes addressing poverty, substance abuse, community development, and gender-based violence.
