Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
On 19 September 2026, Melody for Change will light up the CTICC Auditorium in Cape Town. This Heritage Month fundraiser is dedicated to launching a GBV Safe House, offering protection and dignity to survivors. We need volunteers to help sell 1,500 tickets, priced between R220 and R450. Your role will be vital in ensuring a full house and maximum impact. Roles include: Direct ticket sales – reaching out to friends, family, and networks. Corporate bulk sales – engaging companies to purchase group tickets. Community outreach – promoting tickets in local organizations, schools, and churches. Digital promotion – sharing ticket links on social media and WhatsApp. Event awareness – distributing flyers and encouraging word-of-mouth buzz. Why volunteer? Help establish a GBV Safe House. Gain experience in sales, marketing, and community engagement. Be part of a cultural celebration with lasting social impact. Network with event organizers, artists, and community leaders. Commitment: Flexible hours leading up to the event, with key focus in July–September.
